The club would like to announce the official appointment of Justin Burke as Manager of our Senior Team !!

Justin has a long history in junior soccer, both in his native Dublin and here in the North East Football League. A past player with the club who also managed two of our U17's teams in his early days with Oldcastle Utd, With some of that side still representing the club at adult level now. His association with the club goes further when you had to his previous roles as Secretary of the Juvenile section, and committee member of the Senior section as well been a sponsor since his arrival to the town ten years ago. He has also held a number of posts in the NEFL including Registrar and PRO with whom he won an award at National level claiming the FAIrelandP.R.O of the Year 2014.
The committee were delighted he agreed to take on the job at short notice and were very impressed by his clear, determined and direct approach on how he plans to steer the club forward with a major focus on developing our younger players which was very evident at his first training session last night, with large numbers attending and signing up. We would like to wish him the very best of luck this season, and hopefully the group of players he has assembled will enjoy the experience and push for major honours in the next few years !!
